A Great Fall Dinner!
We had a very successful farm-to-table dinner last night and wanted to send a big thank you to everyone who made the event possible. First, of course, thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the evening with us and who made donations to support our ongoing work. We hope you all enjoyed the delicious meal and hope to see you around again in the near future!
Uncommon Ground’s chefs created some amazing dishes from Growing Home’s organic produce and other local products – tempura squash, salad with maple-pumpkin seed vinaigrette, fall veggie risotto, braised greens and chicken, mashed and sweet potatoes, berry crisp – we’re still feeling full! Helen Cameron’s generous and uplifting spirit is such a joy for us! Her amazing staff rocked the house and made the night flow perfectly. And speaking of flow, the fine Pinot Noir provided by City Winery was a great addition to the night!
And of course thanks to all of Growing Home’s staff and interns who grew the great food and put this event together. Thanks again to everyone and let’s dine again soon!
