Growing Home is ready to start farm development of our newest farm site, the Honore Street Farm, in Englewood. This is the first urban farm to open under the passage of the City of Chicago’s new urban agriculture ordinance will break ground in Englewood.

This site is the result of a partnership with NeighborSpace, which is a public land trust dedicated to the mission of preserving and expanding community managed open space in Chicago. Over a year of planning, along with help from the City of Chicago, SHED Studio, and many stakeholders in Englewood, have made this new farm possible.
