Hire Our Interns!

Every year Growing Home recruits promising individuals to work for our organic agriculture business while receiving industry specific training to prepare them for employment in customer service, food preparation, and landscaping positions.

Interns provide operations support for 4 organic farm sites including site prep, planting, managing compost bins, harvesting and processing crops, packing CSA boxes, and facilitating sales at our farmers markets and farm stands.

Interns learn landscaping, cooking, and sales skills

The Landscaping Track at Su Casa Market Garden includes industry specific techniques in mowing, weeding, fertilizing, aerating, irrigating, pruning, deadheading, and planting.

In the Food Preparation Track at Washburne Culinary Institute at Kennedy King College, interns learn basic knife skills, safety, and sanitation, measurements and conversions, preparing starches, proteins, salads, and sauces, and recipe creation.

The Customer Service Track prepares interns in effective communication, ensuring positive customer interaction, product knowledge and sales, leadership and teamwork, and problem solving.
